f you do not see the ControlShell after pressing one of the key combinations<Alt>+<Shift>+<P>, <Alt>+<Shift>+<Q>,
<Alt>+<Shift>+<Z> then the likely reason is the failure by
the setup program to register the file c:\Program
File\PythonForExcel\otsPythonForExcel.xla among Excel's addins. To overcome
this problem on earlier versions of Excel you need to go to
Tools/Add-ins/Browse... and navigate to the otsPythonForExcel.xla. After you
check in the otsPythonForExcel.xla is should appear in the list as in the
picture below.
On later versions of Excel you need to activate the Developer tab if not yet
activated by going to File/Options/Customize Ribbon.
From the Developer tab go to Add-ins/Browse and navigate to the
otsPythonForExcel.xla.
